The First Due Project Scholarship Fund
Why This Exists
Not every firefighter who wants to get better has the ability to pay for it.
The First Due Project Scholarship Fund is being developed to remove that barrier and expand access to training, leadership development, and meaningful opportunities within the fire service.
This initiative is rooted in a simple belief: those willing to put in the work should have the opportunity to grow.
What the Scholarship Provides
The scholarship fund is designed to provide access to:
- Conference tickets for First Due Project events
- Leadership development opportunities
- Training and educational experiences
- Opportunities for firefighter families to be part of the experience
This is about creating access and opening doors where they might not otherwise exist.
How This Is Made Possible
The First Due Project Scholarship Fund is supported through:
- Sponsorship contributions
- Event raffles and fundraising efforts
- Community donations
- Direct “Sponsor a Seat” contributions
Every dollar raised is directed toward expanding opportunity and putting the right people in the room.
Sponsor a Seat. Make It Real.
Sponsors have the opportunity to directly fund a scholarship seat, putting a firefighter or family in the room who otherwise would not have access.
This is a simple, tangible way to make an immediate impact and directly support the growth of the fire service.
Who This Is Built For
This program is being developed for firefighters and families who demonstrate a commitment to growth, leadership, and service but may face financial barriers to participation.
Additional details on the application and selection process will be released as the fund continues to grow.
